This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

We had lunch at Lime in the Coconut on a Friday afternoon. The restaurant was practically empty. I ordered the mushroom tacos and they were wonderful! The plate included 3 tacos and they were good sized and delish. They use corn tortillas (love) that are very lightly fried. There was plenty of mushroom in each taco. The flavor was great and I saved one taco to eat at breakfast on Saturday. My friend had the garlic noodles with chicken. I tried the noodles and they were amazing! Super garlicky and fun. The interior of the restaurant is comfortable and spacious. Christian was our waiter and he was outstanding. He was friendly, welcoming, helpful and attentive. Oh and the salsa that came with the tacos was exceptional. I loved it! We will be back!

Arrived at 8 pm Friday. Should have been concerned that there were only 3 tables when other restaurants were full. Server, bartender, and manager? Present, but not providing much service. Waited several minutes to be seated (they did at least acknowledge us). Waited even longer until an order was taken (they did at least bring water). Food was ok. Not great, just ok. Pulled pork was tasty, but portion was pretty light for 17 bucks. Pork is one of the cheapest meat options, but it was priced higher than beef. Bank mi was meh. Kinda flat looking. Flavor was ok, but didn't read 16 dollar sandwich to me, even in this economy. Noodle bowl was pretty good, but the strips of beef on top were flavorless with no seasoning or sauce. Fish and chips were tasty, but pieces were smallish. Buy the three piece if you are hungry. The decor was fun. Definitely a highpoint, but the incessant boots-and-cats rhythm of EDM music on constant play made us want to run away after 30 minutes. The zombie I ordered was ok, flavor pretty good, but not quite as sweet as I have made from recipes. Drink was limited to two per night, and it didn't deliver that much punch to warrant a limit. On an upside, food

Such a cute place! We visited for a birthday dinner during the week. It was not that busy when we first went in, but it started getting busier as a time went on. We were shocked to see that there was only one server. She was the bartender as well Which is another shocker. We understand it wasn’t her fault but she Had a slight attitude. I’m pretty sure the fact that she was the only one there as a server and a bartender was the culprit. The food was great. The only issue was that we were missing a wing. We were told that would be five, but there was only four wings, and we ordered hurricane fries, which came completely cold. Definitely will be back tho. The food was great other than a few mishaps and the vibe was just overall fun and cute.

Such a sweet spot! My family came by for brunch and it was DELICIOUS! The breakfast sandwich with spam was good on its own, but the sauces it came with brought it up to a solid 10/10. The mango bread with lilikoi butter was perfeccctttt. Our drinks were so refreshing, too. I had the piΓ±a colada latte and it was bomb β™‘ Our server was very attentive and my family loved stopping by. Can't wait to revisit next time we're in town!

Tasty food from different tropic themed places such as Hawaii, Japan, Philippines. It was packed when we went there, and I think they were understaffed, but it took a while for us to get service (but our server was very kind and friendly and helpful). We got each of the three $7 happy hour items and they were all very good, especially the burgers. They were out of pulled pork. I got "mango sticky rice" and it had normal white rice and less than one bite worth of mango (the plate looked very pretty though) so I was a bit disappointed by that, but the rest of the food was great. Nice place and nice people.
